Payment Options

Lakeway Transit offers several different fare payment options:

Pay your fare upon boarding the bus for a One Ride. Exact change is recommended. If you do not have exact change, our drivers do not carry change or cannot access the fare box for change.

​Transfers

Your trip may require more than one bus route to reach your destination. There are many locations throughout the city where buses meet and transfers can be made. You can request a transfer ticket from the bus operator when leaving the bus, transfers are valid 30 minutes from when they are issued.

Discounted Fare Program

A discounted fare is available to those who qualify. Proper identification (Medicare card) is required before boarding. Qualifying individuals include:

• Seniors age 65 or over

• Medicare card holders

• Persons with disabilities 

• Students attending Walters State Community College or Tennessee College of Applied Technologies
